To serve those who have been cast aside by society is not a duty; it is an act of pure love. My journey with SEVA Street began with a simple, profound truth: that every human being, regardless of their circumstances, deserves to be seen, nourished, and treated with absolute dignity. When we hand a warm meal to our guest on the streets of London at midnight, we are not just providing sustenance—we are offering a sanctuary of hope, connection, and unconditioned love. This work is my life’s highest calling, fueled by a relentless desire to transform street corners of despair into spaces of light and human warmth.
But love in action requires structural strength to truly endure. As a practicing legal professional and the Principal Solicitor of Avery Emerson, I quickly realized that tackling regional homelessness on a meaningful scale demanded the same rigorous compliance, logistical precision, and corporate governance that steers a successful law firm. I have been blessed to channel my decades of legal experience, along with the national leadership insights gained during my tenure as the National Chair of the Sole Practitioners Group (SPG)—where I proudly advocated for over 5,500 law practices across England and Wales—directly into the architecture of SEVA Street.
By integrating professional corporate frameworks with an unshakeable volunteer workforce, we have successfully scaled SEVA Street from a quiet, grassroots initiative into a major multi-borough outreach operation. Administered from our Ilford headquarters, our dedicated mobile teams have now crossed a historic milestone, delivering over 300,000 acts of service, hot meals, and clothing packs across Greater London and Essex.
True Seva—selfless service—means building bridges. It means bringing global retail brands, local councils, independent businesses, and passionate citizens together to stand as a unified shield for the vulnerable. I invite you to join us on this journey. Together, through absolute dedication and love, we can ensure that no one in our community is left to walk the streets alone

The nights are getting darker and colder and we are seeing more and more people on the streets, we are looking to distribute essential items and especially tents.
