"They Give Me Hope..."

In a heartfelt interview, one of our regular guests, Ali, shares how Seva Street offers him hope. Hope is the belief that tomorrow can be better than today, and for those facing hardship, it can mean everything. At Seva Street, we provide more than just food for the homeless; we strive to offer kindness, dignity, compassion, and sustained support for the destitute, empowering our guests across the United Kingdom to reach their full potential. A little hope from Seva Street can change everything.

ABOUT US

Registered charity No.1180811

Seva is an ancient Sanskrit word that embodies the spirit of selfless service. Seva Street, a dedicated non-profit organisation, emerged from the urgent and growing need to provide support for destitute individuals, including offering food for homeless populations in various locations across Greater London and Essex. Our vision is to expand this much-needed support to other regions throughout the UK.

LOVE ALL, SERVE ALL

Seva Street isn't affiliated with any faith, religion, race, or political ideology, and volunteers come from all ethnicities and backgrounds. Their sole agenda is to provide support for the destitute by offering food for the homeless and helping those in need.

All are welcome...

Inspired by the Sanskrit word seva, meaning selfless service, SEVA STREET provides essential support for destitute individuals, including food for homeless people, across Greater London and Essex. Our volunteers, who come from diverse backgrounds, are dedicated to treating everyone as equals.

JOIN US AND SHARE THE JOY

Since March 2018, SEVA STREET has provided over 300,000 meals as food for homeless individuals across Greater London and Essex. Every guest is welcomed with respect, warmth, and a nourishing meal, ensuring they feel supported without judgement or questions. Administered from our Ilford headquarters, SEVA Street orchestrates targeted mobile outreach, robust food supply chains, and crisis support networks to deliver essential support for destitute individuals systematically across key hubs in Greater London and Essex.

Sleeping bags, blankets, jackets, tracksuit trousers, hats, gloves, socks, and underwear are essential items to support the destitute. Additionally, sanitary pads, wet wipes, toiletries, and a hot drinks flask can greatly assist those in need. We also encourage contributions like bus passes for easy transportation. Don’t forget to include food for homeless individuals to ensure they receive comprehensive support. At Seva Street, we strive to provide these crucial supplies where relevant, focusing on new items only.
